15 Years later, exams are still scary

After finishing my 3rd semester in college, I somehow started thinking about all the exam fiascos I have had in my life. The first exam I ever wrote in kindergarten was quite eventful. I had decided that the academic work load assigned to a kindergartener was too much for me. After criticizing the Indian education system quite crudely (well my vocabulary was very limited at that time), I decided that I will not conform to the needless norms set by a very outdated system. After having a structured debate with my mother ( yeah it was mostly me wailing like the four year old I was), We were able to come to an agreement that I would attend the exam provided that my great grandmother waited outside the hall for me. I don’t remember what the exam was on or what happened afterwards, but one thing I can remember is me knowing everything would be okay as long as I could see my great grandmother waiting outside for me.I can still remember her pacing the lengths of the hallway, equally worried. Well in moments of extreme stress, i still like to imagine this remarkable lady waiting outside for me. Kinda makes me believe that everything will be okay.
