What are the chances?

When I left home that morning, the list of things I did not have included my passport, peace of mind and any kind of hope that I was going to catch that flight and make it to New York to start college. My sister kept snacking the entire while and tried to entertain everyone with jokes that had died with the dinosaurs. It is funny how things work out sometimes, because I did catch that flight and make it to New York. Once I received news that I was going to get my passport on time, everyone eased up and the journey to the airport was quite uneventful. What are the chances that I would get my passport that day when It could have easily been delivered the next day? Life has often made me wonder whether someone is working against us to make our lives miserable. But I was not realizing that someone is actually working to make sure that we're where we are supposed to be.
